Walmart.com Appoints Jeanne Jackson

It’s official! Jeanne Jackson, 48, joins the team of the Walmart giant. The new spinoff company created specifically to manage only the Internet Operations division will nevertheless be owned and operated primarily by Walmart itself.

Despite analysts believing that Walmart will become an e-commerce giant, this has not yet happened. The reason is very clear: e-commerce is still immature. It will still take years for the sector to reach a level of maturity that will deliver concrete results.
