Smart Working: how to connect to Windows using Raspberry Pi 4

There is a lot of talk about Smart Working in this historical period, but we have always supported the importance of work regardless of geographic location. Technology now provides increasingly fast internet connections (and there’s no going back). Software to connect to your computer, combined with increasingly advanced cloud services, makes a fixed office workstation completely unnecessary. We list below a setup that we have been using for years within our company:

• Windows-based desktop / laptop normally used at home in smart working mode

• ADSL / FIBER connection with Dyndns.it to be able to access from outside

• Raspberry Pi 4 (4 GB) connected to keyboard, monitor and mouse

• Linux + Remmina to connect to Windows

You can see the result in the image, a remote desktop running fullscreen on the Raspberry. Some points for reflection: no carry-on luggage or bag, very little power consumed, the power of your PC and Raspberry to do everything you want. Is there anything else to add?
