Only Electric Cars by 2035? Europe is Having Second Thoughts…

Update from March 6, 2023: Just 2 days after our article was published, reality has “lightly brushed the face” of all those politicians who were waving around the mandate as the only solution for salvation. Source: Ansa – Motoring Channel

This will be the headline in a few years, because only someone living in another universe could think of imposing a technological change “by law”.

And as if that wasn’t enough…

Does it make sense to go from Middle Eastern dependence to dependence on Chinese batteries? No!

Who guarantees we’ll be able to be productive and competitive in the battery sector in such a short time? Nobody!

Is it conceivable to have a strategy to adapt the entire electrical grid to the astronomical consumption for charging millions of vehicles? No!

Who will be able to produce all the energy needed to charge millions of vehicles? Nobody!

Do we all live in townhouses so we can install solar panels (always Chinese…)? No!

Do we really need to remind ourselves that the electric motor gets energy solely from the battery, while the “combustion” one also uses oxygen from the air as fuel? Let’s hope not!

It doesn’t take much—just read some statistics or listen to a podcast. The most obvious solution is hybrid vehicles that BY LAW can drive in big cities only in electric mode and use the combustion engine for long distances, but perhaps it takes a Q.I. that’s too high to understand that “virtue lies in the middle”…
