IIS Security on Windows 2000

Windows 2000 and its IIS may seem at first glance full of security bugs and in some respects it may even be true. However, the problem is not that, but the initial setup. IIS allows you to be very operational from the start, thus leaving many connectivity options open that can be considered dangerous. By following just a few simple rules to close access at some points, IIS will be vulnerable exactly like many other software.
